Ivan Narib's journey into the heart of Africa's wilderness began as a field guide at Sossusvlei Camp in 1999. His love for adventure took him to explore various landscapes while working as a field guide at renowned lodges across Namibia including: Ongava and Onguma in Etosha, Damaraland Camp, Skeleton Coast Camp, Lianshulu Lodge in the Caprivi, and Desert Homestead.
Ivan's insatiable wanderlust eventually led him to embrace the freedom of freelance guiding, where he currently shares his wealth of knowledge and passion for adventure across Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.
With a knack for storytelling and a great sense of humour, Ivan effortlessly engages guests, turning each excursion into an unforgettable adventure. Armed with a level 4 Namibian Academy Tourism and Hospitality certification, a Desert Guiding certificate, and expertise gained from courses such as Birds Ringing and Identification and the Botswana Kwando Guides course, Ivan is equipped to provide unparalleled experiences in the wilderness.
