Born in Windhoek and raised on a farm south-west of the city, Thamari has grown up around tourism. After finishing school at Private School Elnatan, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences with Marketing and Tourism Management at North-West University in Potchefstroom, graduating top of her class in 2025. She is currently completing her honours degree in Tourism and Hospitality at NUST.
Before joining Namibia Tours & Safaris, Thamari gained hands-on tourism experience through her family’s safari business and spent several months working at //Khaes Nauams Namibia. She particularly enjoys meeting travellers and hearing their stories, something that fits perfectly with her new role.
Outside of work, Thamari enjoys baking, reading, podcasts, sewing, hiking and spending time in nature. She is also learning German and has a real love for exploring Namibia, especially the remote places where family camping trips and wildlife adventures have created some of her favourite memories.
Our guides are exceptional human beings one and all. Their love of people, country, history, flora, fauna and a jolly good time is entirely contagious and their professionalism, expertise and trustworthiness will set your heart at ease from the moment you leave the arrivals terminal.
