Erna was born in Okakarara in the Otjozondjupa Region near the Waterberg Reserve and the famous plateau found in these parts. She grew up in the village of Ombujomumbonde, a place she holds dear to her heart, a place of her Herero heritage and tradition. Her Namibian roots.
Now in Swakopmund, a big change from where she comes from, Erna still makes her way back home often to visit her family and friends. Although she relocated for work, she loves the sea and enjoys living in the cooler climate that the coast offers.
Erna is a delightful and modest young lady with an incredible work ethic and attitude. She always knows what's going on in the office, where to find things and makes a darn good cup of coffee. Of that we are sure. Ask anyone in the office and they'll say the same thing. She loves taking part in any community initiatives planned by the office and is always the the first to dress up in good spirit.
Of the places Erna has yet to visit, she would most love to see Etosha National Park for its great wildlife and the surprising landscapes and of Namibia she says "It's a peaceful country. I am happy to live here."
