Anywhere along the Caprivi. It's a slice of heaven and so different to the rest of Namibia, which is arid and dry. The Caprivi is lush and green and the people from this region are some of the friendliest in the country.
I am ecstatic to see people leave having had the best holiday of their lives. To leave Namibia with a smile, a full heart and a yearning to return. My expertise is planning the best holiday to Namibia and beyond. It's in the small details.
Old Trader's Lodge on the private Erindi Game Reserve. Every game drive delivers incredible wildlife sightings. Every time I have been, I have almost always seen the wildlife I hoped to encounter.
The 16 Day Best of Namibia Safari with Southern Extension. I love this itinerary as it visits all the main highlights of Namibia including the Kalahari, Fish River Canyon and Luderitz. I also have to pick the 16 Day Namibia, Chobe and Okavango Delta Safari as it includes both the western and eastern side of the Caprivi and this is my all-time favourite destination.
Going to Etosha, seeing herds of elephant stroll right past us and among them was a calf walking between the mother's legs.
Do your research on the destinations you will be visiting. Read through the material provided as this offers great insight and heaps of knowledge. The sun gets hot during the day and evenings can be chilly. Pack for all seasons and layer your clothing.
Try to make the moments last by taking as many photos as possible. Be sure to charge your phone, camera batteries and equipment as often as you can.

“There’s something special at every turn. That’s what makes Namibia extraordinary.” From unimaginable landscapes, interesting cultures and prolific wildlife. Sammy loves Namibia for all that it is. A diverse country offers a diverse holiday and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a holiday like that? Spectacular sundowners, village visits and game drives all in a day.
Sammy is a born and bred Namibian, she called the capital, Windhoek, her home for almost all of her life bar a few months living in Katima Mulilo in the north. Thats the reason she loves the Caprivi so much, well that and of course because its vastly different from the rest of the country. A wetland that is raw, wild and beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Doing anything with her family and friends is something she treasures. If it includes travel and exploring more of Namibia, then it’s even better.
Sammy loves to read, dance and sing, but being outdoors is still her number one pastime. Anywhere she can be immersed in nature, enjoying the tranquility and serenity of her surrounds. She loves a little luxury mixed with some nights camping to get the best of both worlds, as long as it’s in a natural setting and somewhere in Namibia, you’re in for a treat either way.
Sammy’s smile is contagious as is her love for life, her friendly demeanour and heart of gratitude in all things. She’s grateful she gets to do a job she loves each day, especially selling tailor-made holidays to her favourite place in the world. Making sure each enquiry turns into the perfect seamless trip is her top priority. Just as it should be.
Our guides are exceptional human beings one and all. Their love of people, country, history, flora, fauna and a jolly good time is entirely contagious and their professionalism, expertise and trustworthiness will set your heart at ease from the moment you leave the arrivals terminal.
