Meet Kim-Raquel Taillard, born and bred in Windhoek, Namibia, with a sprinkle of Swakopmund's coastal charm. After attending the German school DHPS in Windhoek, she transitioned to homeschooling, embracing various part-time roles alongside extensive volunteer work. Kim's passion for community service led her to the deaf community, where she learned Namibian Sign Language.
Workwise, Kim's been all over: managing stores, designing graphics, and ruling social media in Windhoek. But her heart? It's in Swakopmund, where she practically lived on the beach before heading back to Windhoek in 2021.
Kim's a multitasking marvel: sketching, designing, cooking, gardening, and even dabbling in coding. Blame it on her wild upbringing—literally, she grew up surrounded by rescue animals and her close-knit family.
Now, as a tour consultant, Kim crafts dreamy trips tailored to every whim. Her go-tos? Think Sossusvlei Desert Lodge and Shipwreck Lodge. And her ultimate safari memory? Spotting an elephant at Erindi Game Reserve, a moment she'll never forget.
For Kim, travel's all about rolling with the punches and seizing the day. Her motto?
