Born in the charming town of Rehoboth and raised in Swakopmund, Roggaya’s journey in the travel industry has been as diverse as her background. Her passion for tourism began at just 16, working part-time at the legendary Out of Africa Coffee Shop in Swakopmund. By the following year, she was running the show, balancing her mornings at the coffee shop with afternoons at Africa Travel Concept (ATC) as a booking agent.
Her love for travel and all things tourism only grew stronger, leading her to pursue an International Diploma in Travel & Tourism at Varsity College in Cape Town. After years of back-and-forth between Namibia and South Africa, Roggaya took on a role at South African Airways as a Customer Service Agent, where she worked for nearly four years.
After the birth of her child, she returned to her roots in Swakopmund and continued her career as a Travel Agent, ultimately landing a role with a top Namibian tour operator where she thrives today.
When she's not crafting the perfect travel itinerary, Roggaya enjoys spending time with her close-knit family, trying new food, and exploring new places—her favorite being the stunning Sossusvlei and Damaraland. A self-proclaimed "luxury spa hotel" type of traveler (though she'll settle for some glam camping), she’s also got a love for health, lifestyle, and cars.
