An exceptional wildlife and nature photographer, every waking moment Sean is immersed in some kind of outdoorsy pursuit and his skills, knowledge and experience are somewhat staggering.
Birds, insects, plants, animals, fish, reptiles... he's a polymath of the natural world and he's also a damn-fine gentleman to boot.
Sean grew up in the Skeleton Coast National Park where Steve was a ranger. The family then moved to the amazing Hobatere Lodge where his love affair with nature become permanent. On how he became a safari guide:
"I grew up in the bush with a walking encyclopedia as a father..."
After studying hospitality and guiding in South Africa, Sean moved up to the Caprivi as a full-time birding and fly-fishing guide on the Kwando River eventually becoming lodge manager. He's done guided walks, big game tracking, specialised birding and has advanced rifle handling skills. And on top of all that, he's a highly approachable, well-mannered and enthusiastic young man.
With such a wealth of knowledge and respect for the natural world, a guided tour with Sean at the helm is guaranteed to be a journey of countless fascinating discoveries.
