“Everything went well with the trip — the organisation was top-notch and the accommodation very nice throughout.”
This 12-day self-drive safari took a couple on a classic loop through Namibia, travelling in a Fortuner SUV and combining desert scenery, coastal time and rewarding wildlife encounters. Beginning in the Namib Desert with two nights at Le Mirage, the route continued to Swakopmund before heading north into the rocky landscapes of Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp and on to Etosha.
Highlights included contrasting stays at Etosha Safari Lodge and Mokuti Lodge, followed by a relaxed finish at Okonjima Plains Camp, where wildlife encounters and open space rounded off the journey beautifully. Comfortable accommodation throughout, clear routing and a helpful arrival briefing ensured the trip ran smoothly from start to finish.
Well paced and thoughtfully arranged, this was an easy, confidence-building introduction to Namibia’s key regions, balancing variety with manageable driving days.
