“This trip surpassed what I had hoped for - truly a trip of a lifetime.”
This 22-day combination safari brought five travellers on a carefully layered journey through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, blending fly-in elements with private guided travel. The first leg of their trip was a fly-in taking them to Fish River Canyon, Sossusvlei and Swakopmund. From there the group continued north with their private guide, Zane, travelling through Damaraland and Etosha before the journey split, with some returning to Windhoek and others continuing on with Zane to the Okavango Delta, Chobe and Victoria Falls.
Highlights included stays at Fish River Lodge, Hoodia Desert Lodge near Sossusvlei, time at Lodge Damaraland, and memorable wildlife encounters around Ongava and Mushara in Etosha. The journey concluded with classic safari experiences in the Okavango Delta and at Chobe, before ending at Victoria Falls.
Attentive guiding by Zane, combined with thoughtful planning and warm personal touches throughout, ensured the journey ran seamlessly — particularly reassuring for a first-time visitor to Africa.
