Le Mirage Desert Lodge and Spa

Le Mirage Desert Lodge and Spa

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Inside, however, is far less imposing and the courtyard has a soothing cover of grass and a large swimming pool. Not horses and sack-clad mercenaries arming themselves for battle as you might be expecting.

The Moorish theme continues into the 27 en suite rooms with light and earthy décor in different shades to echo the endless views outside the arched Gothic portrait windows. Modern amenities that no prince heir should be without including air conditioning, a safe, a mini bar, bath robes and a coffee and tea station.

Most of the rooms look onto an enviable oasis. You'd forget that just beyond the walls, you're in the world's oldest desert and one with an impressive night sky. For those looking to sleep out under the stars, book 1 of 2 additional sky rooms, open-air, under the stars. This is booked in addition to either an Oasis or Camelthorn room as this is weather dependent.
