Day 1 & 2: Victoria Falls (Zim)

On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred by road to your hotel in Victoria Falls, where you’ll spend the first two nights of your safari. Settle in, relax after your journey and begin soaking up the atmosphere of this lively little town on the banks of the Zambezi.

Day 2 is yours to explore Victoria Falls and choose from the many activities on offer. Visit the rainforest for spectacular views of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, take a scenic helicopter flight over the Falls, cruise along the Zambezi at sunset or, for something more adventurous, try white-water rafting or one of the high-wire activities. There is also plenty of time simply to enjoy the town and your hotel. Those staying at The Victoria Falls Hotel may want to indulge in its famous afternoon high tea overlooking the Victoria Falls Bridge.

Day 3 & 4: Chobe National Park

After breakfast, transfer by road from Zimbabwe into neighbouring Botswana and continue to the Chobe region. Your driver will assist with the border formalities along the way before delivering you to your safari lodge. Chobe is renowned for its exceptional wildlife, particularly its enormous elephant herds, and your safari experience begins from the moment you arrive.

On day 4 spend the day exploring Chobe through the safari activities arranged by your lodge. Game drives offer the chance to encounter elephants, buffalo, predators and large herds of plains game, while a boat safari on the Chobe River provides an entirely different perspective as wildlife gathers along the water’s edge. Activities are planned and scheduled by the lodge guides to make the most of the conditions and wildlife movements each day.

Day 5: Chobe and Beyond

Luxury Safari: After a final morning activity and breakfast, transfer to Kasane Airport for your light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta. The flight itself is part of the experience, with wonderful aerial views as the dry bushveld gives way to the Delta’s extraordinary network of channels, floodplains and islands. On arrival, transfer to Camp Moremi and enjoy your first afternoon in this remarkable wilderness.

Standard Safari: Enjoy another full day in the Chobe region, with safari activities arranged by Chobe Elephant Camp. Depending on the lodge schedule, your day may include game drives, a boat safari or other activities, giving you another opportunity to experience Chobe’s abundant wildlife.

Day 6: Okavango Delta

Luxury Safari: Spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich Moremi area from Camp Moremi. The combination of floodplains, woodland and waterways creates superb wildlife habitat, with opportunities to see lion, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species. Activities are arranged by the lodge and may include game drives and boating, depending on water levels and conditions.

Standard Safari: After breakfast and a final activity in Chobe, transfer to Kasane Airport and board your light aircraft flight into the Okavango Delta. From above, watch the landscape transform into a maze of waterways and islands before landing in one of Africa’s great wilderness areas. On arrival, transfer to Rra Dinare and settle in for your three-night Delta stay.

Day 7: Deeper into the Okavango Delta

Luxury Safari: After a morning activity and breakfast, make your way to the airstrip for your onward light aircraft transfer to Xugana Island Lodge. Moving to a different part of the Delta brings a completely new setting and safari experience. Xugana lies in a beautiful permanent-water area, where tranquil channels and lagoons provide an idyllic contrast to the wildlife-rich landscapes experienced at Camp Moremi.

Day 8: Okavango Delta

Enjoy a final full day immersed in the Okavango Delta.
