Gracefully placed amongst the desert landscape, this lodge is entirely unique in character. A blend of marble, wood and metals with shades of grey and touches of pink. Not your typical expected palette of colours but surprisingly an uncanny justice to the surrounds.

Creative with a flair of sophistication in every detail. Everything has its place and now you have found yours amidst the Namib Desert. Expect the attention to detail and friendly atmosphere for which the Gondwana Collection is known.

From a viewpoint with the ideal photo spot and a pink fridge for refreshments, out in the middle of nowhere, to the ice cream trolley offering some sweet relief in the heat, this eccentric but elegant lodge has it all thought out. Ensured you will have a different experience to that of other lodges in the area, perhaps even in Namibia at large.

Although not quite Sossusvlei by location since you're situated a fair distance from the entrance to the park at Sesriem (60 km to be exact), it's still within reach, more a stretch really, if that is your desire. An early start but the dunes are well worth it. Not that you need go anywhere as there is plenty to do at the lodge itself and relaxing is more than just an option too.
