At a distant glance, Desert Hills Lodge looks like a formation of sociable weavers nests set out against an outcrop. Yellow-thatched huts, like those of the ancient San people, perfectly set out and well blended against a backdrop of the rugged, dry expanse of the desert.

The lodge has a modern and comfortable feel across a natural palette with slight hints of colour. The sparkling blue swimming pool in contrast is the loudest it gets - a stand out for its hue and the welcome offer to cool off in the heat.

Although unalike in design, the overall feel of the lodge is classic. What you would come to expect from a luxury lodge having dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s. Sublime.
