Sossusvlei

Desert Hills Lodge
Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Open skies. Mountains aloof. Panoramic view. There’s not much out there but the nature that surrounds you. Just get lost in the wonder of it all and revel in the tranquillity of a place so vast. Simply relax.

The lodge has a modern and comfortable feel across a natural palette with slight hints of colour. The sparkling blue swimming pool in contrast is the loudest it gets - a stand out for its hue and the welcome offer to cool off in the heat.

Although unalike in design, the overall feel of the lodge is classic. What you would come to expect from a luxury lodge having dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s. Sublime.

A ceaseless view. Unrivalled quiet. Sunrise and sunset has never been this good.

Facilities

18 twin/double en-suite luxury huts; air-conditioning; minibar; coffee & tea facilities; restaurant; bar; wine cellar; library; lounge; WiFi in the main area; swimming pool; deck; fire pit and outside barbeque area.

Activities

Only 28 km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei, a great location from which to explore the main attraction. The endless dunes and beyond.

Explore the Namib Desert. Relax. Rejuvenate.
