“The trip surpassed what we had hoped for - spectacular scenery, wonderful wildlife and outstanding camps.”
This fly-in safari combined Namibia’s flagship wilderness areas with a relaxed finale in Cape Town, using light aircraft to move efficiently between remote camps and maximise time on the ground. The journey balanced wildlife, vast scenery and comfort, while embracing the slower, immersive rhythm that defines a classic safari.
Standout stays included Zannier Omaanda for its refined setting and excellent guiding, Onguma Camp Kala for exceptional service and Etosha game viewing, and deeply immersive experiences at Hoanib Valley Camp and Desert Rhino Camp, where expert guides and trackers brought wildlife encounters to life. Namib Outpost was a particular favourite in the desert, praised for its setting, attentive service and unforgettable dune excursions. Scenic charter flights - including a low-level flight along the Skeleton Coast - became highlights in their own right, adding an unexpected sense of adventure.
The safari flowed naturally into Cape Town and the Winelands, where dramatic scenery, world-class food and relaxed luxury provided a fitting contrast to Namibia’s remote wilderness, rounding off a long but deeply rewarding journey.
