This 14-day self-drive safari took a couple on a varied journey through Namibia, travelling independently in one of our Fortuner SUVs. The route moved from the red sands of the Kalahari at Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge and the dramatic setting of Fish River Lodge, through the Namib Desert and on to the coast with time at Swakopmund Luxury Suites, before continuing north to Damaraland and Etosha.
Highlights included the relaxed desert setting of Desert Homestead, nights at Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp, rewarding game viewing around Etosha Village and Mushara Bush Camp, and a comfortable final stay at Otjiwa Eagle’s Rest. Clear directions, practical travel tips and strong on-the-ground support ensured smooth travelling throughout.
When an unexpected medical issue arose near the end of the trip, swift assistance and seamless coordination helped the journey continue safely and comfortably - reinforcing the value of solid in-country support.
