Rising from the ashes where Onguma Treetop Camp once stood - the new all-elegant, all-exclusive, all-exquisite Onguma Camp Kala. The same great bush setting and waterhole but the camp on a whole new level.

With only four elevated suites, Camp Kala is intimate and private. Each suite has an outside shower, large private deck, a plunge pool or wood-fired hot tub and a shaded sala area with a king size daybed and endless waterhole views. If you aren’t on a game drive on the reserve or in Etosha National Park, you’ll be hanging out in your suite happily watching the animals come and go. This is the lap of luxury.

Connected by walkways the main area features a round central tower which, being mud plastered, resembles a termite mound. You’ll see many in these parts. The camp offers of a cocktail bar, beautiful deck with ample outside seating, a yoga deck and a fire pit. Then there’s a viewing hide for lazy days game viewing at eye level, a gym and a spa. The dining area has an open plan ‘show’ kitchen and a pantry to delight. You can even do a private dinner at your own suite. It’s all-round incredible.

On the 34,000 ha Private Onguma Reserve, you have the opportunity to see numerous wildlife including all the species you would find inside Etosha National Park and a good chance of seeing black rhino.
