Like a boat sitting in dock, @ The Sea Boutique Guesthouse offers a magnificent view out over the ocean and beach of Swakopmund.
With features reminiscent of a boat and bright colours adding to the interesting façade, the glass-fronted rooms all open up onto the lawn with an elevated view of the crashing waves beyond.
The rooms are spacious, the furniture modern and minimalistic and the white linens round up the stylish, clean and contemporary feel. The décor is an ode to your typical beach theme and the round windows in the bathrooms reiterate the feeling of being on board a vessel. It’s a little clichéd but in its simplicity, it comes together faultlessly.
Breakfast is a treat as is a dip in the infinity pool, provided the weather is warm enough - Swakopmund doesn’t exactly offer up your traditional tropical beach holiday climate. Stroll across the street and follow the promenade into town and to the Mole. You’re ideally located here to head off and explore or stay put and relax soaking in the view.
@ The Sea Guesthouse will happily assist you in booking any activities you may wish to do during your stay and there are a multitude to choose from. From sky diving and hot air ballooning to camel rides and quad bike tours. Go explore the dunes on a fat bike or take a guided tour to Sandwich Harbour. Take a boat cruise or kayak activity with the seals in Walvis Bay, or discover the vibrant city life on a township tour or historical walking tour.
