Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Brigadoon Boutique Guesthouse has an ideal location minutes from both the town centre and the sea - but nicely sheltered from said sea behind a row of apartments. A few minutes' walk gets you to the beach, the lighthouse, restaurants, cafes, pubs, museums, galleries and markets.

The old captains' house built in 1912, restored, is stunning and a part of the history of Swakopmund. Although it has been a guesthouse for years, it was fully renovated and re-opened in April 2023 by a well known lodge group in Namibia. A soul revived, it's really beautiful in it's vintage maritime style and ode to days gone by.

Inside, the 7 rooms are large with double beds (including 1 family room with a shared bathroom). With a landscaped garden at its heart, each room has a separate entrance that doubles as your own breakfast patio. You can have breakfast here or in the breakfast room, which is perhaps a better idea on the colder foggy mornings.

Most Important Meal Of The Day out the way - and thoroughly enjoyed without doubt - Swakopmund is on your doorstep. Discover the living desert, explore the Walvis Bay lagoon, drive through the Moon Landscape or play a round in one of the world's few all-grass desert golf courses complete with springbok and resident birdlife. Whatever your preference, there's a lot more to Swakopmund than a quirky seaside town.
