Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Set within Thornybush Nature Reserve – part of the Greater Kruger – Little Saseka enjoys a prime position overlooking the seasonal Monwana Riverbed. Here, elephants dig for water in the sand below the expansive deck, while uninterrupted bushveld stretches across 15,000 hectares of protected wilderness.

Designed by acclaimed architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, Little Saseka is a striking reinterpretation of the classic Gold Rush-era canvas tent, seamlessly blending old-world nostalgia with contemporary texture and style. Every detail reflects a deep respect for history and place, from heritage-inspired touches to the iconic Singer sewing machine in the living area.

Reserved exclusively for private use, the camp accommodates up to 6 guests across the main luxury tent and 2 recently added tented suites, all connected by a raised wooden walkway. Ensuite bathrooms include standalone bathtubs framed by large windows for views onto the surrounding bush, and indoor and outdoor showers. The spacious living and dining area opens onto an extended deck with private pool, additional outdoor dining space and firepit – perfect for after-dinner drinks beneath starry skies.

With a personal chef, dedicated butler, and private open-air safari vehicle with expert guide and tracker, guests enjoy complete flexibility. Days can be spent on tailored game drives, relaxing poolside, indulging in wellness treatments on the deck, or enjoying educational activities for children.
