Beachfront city style followed by classic Big Five safari.
This 7-day South Africa journey combines two very different experiences in one easy trip. You’ll begin with three nights in Camps Bay, where the beach, restaurants and Cape Town’s highlights are all close at hand, before flying north to the Greater Kruger for three nights of safari in the Sabi Sand.
It’s a great option if you want to balance relaxed coastal time with excellent wildlife viewing, without trying to squeeze too many destinations into one itinerary.
Days 1–3: Cape Town - breakfast
Days 4–6: Sabi Sand - fully inclusive
Day 7: Departure - breakfast

Days 1–3: Cape Town & Camps Bay
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to POD Camps Bay Boutique Hotel, your base for the next three nights. Camps Bay puts you right beside one of Cape Town’s best-known beaches, with the Twelve Apostles rising behind you and plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars within easy reach.
You’ll have two full days to enjoy Cape Town at your own pace. Spend time on the beach, head up Table Mountain, explore the V&A Waterfront, visit the Cape Peninsula or take a day trip into the Winelands. There’s plenty to do, but this part of the trip works just as well if you simply want to slow down, enjoy long lunches and make the most of the coast.
Accommodation:
POD Camps Bay Boutique Hotel
Days 4–6: Sabi Sand
On Day 4, transfer back to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred into the Sabi Sand, one of South Africa’s most rewarding safari areas.
Over the next three nights, your days revolve around early morning and late afternoon game drives, when wildlife is generally at its most active. The area is known for excellent Big Five viewing, particularly leopard, while lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino are also regularly seen. Between drives, there’s time to relax back at camp and enjoy the slower rhythm of safari life.
Accommodation:
Sabi Sabi Selati Camp
Day 7: Departure
After your final morning in the bush, check out and transfer back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your onward journey. Your trip comes to an end after a week combining Cape Town’s beachside lifestyle with the wildlife and wide-open spaces of the Sabi Sand.
