Gomoti Plains is made up of only 10 Meru-styles tents all elevated onto wooded decks to make sure you wake up with a view. Each tent has an en suite bathroom with hot water, double beds, a desk and a private patio. If you decide to book a family tent you will also have your own lounge. For something a bit more “natural” there are also outdoor showers if you would like to opt for something a bit different.
Before we move on to the main area and activities, we should mention the in-room massages if you would like to take relaxation to the next step.
At the main area you will find the dining area, pool, viewing deck and outdoor lounge, all decorated with a modern safari twist. Before dinner you are all invited for pre-dinner drinks around the fire place to meet the other holiday-goers.
During the day you can take on the water or land for some exploration. Take it slow on the mokoro canoe, glide on the water and go fishing or go for the classic safari experience to witness the big five take on the wild. If you keep a good look out you might even catch a glimpse of the wild dogs.
Gomoti Plains is family friendly and the kids can explore the camp safely while you relax by the pool. The guides will make sure you won’t miss a thing on your trip. At the end of the day the only thing you need to focus on is your nightcap and the animal sounds in the distance.
Mekoro canoe rides on the river; boat trip could be combined with a fishing trip;
safari trips to see the big five and other rare sightings or enjoy a spa treatment - done in the privacy of your own tent.
