“We had a wonderful trip and absolutely loved Namibia - what a magnificent country.”
This 12-day self-drive safari took five travellers from Windhoek through the Namib Desert, Damaraland and on to Etosha, combining iconic landscapes with comfortable lodge stays and well-chosen activities. Travelling over the festive period, the route balanced a busy but rewarding pace with time to enjoy lodges, swimming pools and shared family moments along the way.
Highlights included desert scenery around Le Mirage, elephant encounters in Damaraland with an exceptional local guide, and standout stays at Etosha Oberland Lodge and Onguma Bush Camp, which were praised for both setting and service. Smooth logistics, warm welcomes and seamless vehicle arrangements contributed to a trip that ran reliably from start to finish.
A memorable journey that introduced the family to Namibia’s diversity - from desert to wildlife-rich reserves - and left them with shared experiences they’ll long remember.
