This 9-day guided safari was arranged at short notice and took a couple on a beautifully balanced journey through Namibia, travelling with their private guide, Vincent Taylor, and staying at a mix of desert lodges and scenic camps. From the classic dunes and Deadvlei near Sossusvlei to time on the coast and on into the rugged landscapes of Damaraland, the route delivered variety without feeling rushed.
Highlights included the striking setting of Mowani Mountain Camp, memorable sundowner moments after light rainfall, desert-adapted elephants, and a dune drive to Sandwich Harbour.
