Selati Camp

Selati Camp

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Situated in the south-west section of the Greater Kruger National Park, close to the border with Mozambique, Selati is one of 4 luxury lodges in the family-owned and run Sabi Sand Game Reserve. You’ll find space in abundance here, and chances are high that you’ll have the teeming wildlife all to yourself on your daily game drives.

There’s more action back at the lodge, too, with expansive decks overlooking the Msuthlu riverbed and watering pan – a hotspot for animals looking to quench their thirst, especially during the dry season. The small pool is perfect for cooling post-game-drive dips, and the Farmhouse Kitchen serves up fresh local ingredients for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Fires on cool evenings and boma-style dining add a romantic touch.

The 7 thatched, standalone Luxury Suites, including the Lourenço Marques Honeymoon Suite, and the palatial Ivory Presidential Suite, are each named for former local railway stations, and come furnished with antique furniture and storied paraphernalia. You’ll find space to roam, ensuite bathrooms, and a private courtyard with a romantic free-standing claw bathtub and open-air showers.

Guests staying at Selati Camp also have access to Amani Spa & Wellness at sister properties, Bush Lodge or Earth Lodge.
