Accommodation at Sausage Tree Camp is in six large tented suites and an organic open-air bathroom. Large four-posters are draped with mosquito nets and your view from the private balcony is a foliage-framed montage of river, island and (frequently) elephant and hippo.

Birding is excellent and your guides are well-schooled and their enthusiasm for the bush is intoxicating.
