Desert dunes, remote wilderness and exceptional wildlife – all connected by private charter flights.
This 7-day fly-in safari brings together three very different sides of Namibia, without spending long days travelling by road. Beginning among the great dunes of Sossusvlei, you’ll fly north into the wonderfully remote landscapes of Kaokoland before finishing beside Etosha National Park.
Along the way you’ll stay at three exceptional camps: the striking &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge, intimate Hoanib Valley Camp and exclusive Onguma Camp Kala. Private charter flights between each region mean more time on safari and some spectacular views of Namibia’s ever-changing landscape from the air.
Day 1 & 2: Sossusvlei - fully inclusive
Day 3 & 4: Kaokoland - fully inclusive
Day 5 & 6: Etosha - fully inclusive
Day 7: Windhoek (departure)
Days 1 & 2: Sossusvlei
Your journey begins at Hosea Kutako International Airport, where you’ll board a private charter flight south-west towards the Namib Desert. Flying is a wonderful introduction to the sheer scale of Namibia, with the landscape gradually becoming drier and more dramatic as you approach Sossusvlei.
On arrival at the Sossusvlei Desert Lodge airstrip, you’ll be met and transferred to Sossusvlei Desert Lodge, your home for the next two nights.
Set among the mountains and seemingly endless desert, the lodge is a destination in itself. During your stay you’ll have time to explore the surrounding desert, with the towering dunes of Sossusvlei and the ancient clay pan of Deadvlei among the obvious highlights.
There’s also plenty of reason to slow down. Relax beside your private pool, take in the enormous desert views or simply enjoy the silence and space. As darkness falls, the exceptionally clear skies make this one of Namibia’s finest places for stargazing.

Days 3 & 4: Hoanib Valley
After breakfast on Day 3, transfer back to the airstrip for your charter flight north, routing via Swakopmund and Twyfelfontein before continuing into the remote wilderness of north-western Namibia.
The flight itself is part of the experience, with the scenery below changing from desert and coastline to rugged mountains and dry river valleys.
On arrival at Orutjandja Airstrip, you’ll be transferred to Hoanib Valley Camp, an intimate camp surrounded by wonderfully untouched wilderness.
Your time here is spent exploring the valleys, rocky plains and dry riverbeds with your guide. The area is particularly well known for its desert-adapted wildlife, including elephants that have learned to survive in this harsh environment. You may also encounter giraffe, oryx and other wildlife along the way.
It’s a quieter and more intimate safari experience than you’ll find in Namibia’s larger parks, with the dramatic scenery every bit as memorable as the animals.

Days 5 & 6: Onguma & Etosha
On Day 5, transfer back to Orutjandja Airstrip and board your private charter flight east towards Onguma, bordering Etosha National Park.
Here you’ll stay at Onguma Camp Kala, an exceptionally intimate camp overlooking its own private waterhole. With just a handful of suites, it offers plenty of privacy and a wonderful sense of having your own little corner of the reserve.
Your full day here is all about wildlife. Onguma’s position alongside the eastern boundary of Etosha puts you in an excellent location for exploring both the private reserve and the national park.
Game drives offer the chance to encounter elephant, giraffe, zebra, antelope and predators including lion, while Etosha’s famous waterholes can be particularly rewarding as wildlife gathers to drink.
Back at Camp Kala, the game viewing doesn’t necessarily stop. Its waterhole attracts regular visitors, so you can continue watching the wildlife from the comfort of camp.

Enjoy your final morning at Onguma before checking out and heading to the airstrip.
Your private charter flight takes you back across Namibia to Hosea Kutako International Airport, bringing your journey to an end.
In just seven days you’ll have travelled from the towering dunes of the Namib to the remote valleys of north-western Namibia and the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha – with some spectacular aerial views connecting it all.
