Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Set just a short drive from surf hotspot Jeffreys Bay in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, JBay Zebra Lodge is a country house–style getaway offering a peaceful escape between rolling indigenous bush and distant views of the Indian Ocean. Its elevated position and lush, tranquil surroundings make it an ideal base for guests seeking rest, space, and a slower pace.

The lodge combines classic country charm with subtle African design elements. Accommodation includes 3 suites (Earth Suite, Stone Luxury Suite, and Oceana Room), 2 safari-style tents (Colonial Safari Tent and Country Safari Tent), and the Leopard Family Room, which sleeps up to 4 guests. Each one is individually and comfortably styled and finished with natural textures and warm tones. Private wooden decks extend each room into the landscape, offering uninterrupted views across the bushveld and out towards the sea.

Public spaces are designed for relaxation, whether spent by the pool, in shaded outdoor areas, or gathering around the boma in the evenings. The lodge encourages a gentle rhythm, with attentive service, relaxed dining, and plenty of quiet corners in which to unwind.
