But you won’t stay in your room all day now, right? So, let’s cut to the chase. At the main area you will find a pool, lounging area with a view, the dining area as well as the bar. Since everything is in one spot, it is easy to just let everyone in the family relax in their own way and when you head off to dinner, they have a special menu just for kids and can cater for their dinner times prior to your trip.

While the babysitting is an option for you to kick back, relax and not worry about what the rascals are up to, the activities are very family friendly and can make for a great bonding experience. Get your camera ready to witness the big five on a game drive, the guides know the area in and out, so they will make sure you spot all of your favourite animals. If you don’t see them all on the first trip, remember that every day at the lodge comes with two game drives, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Even children’s safari programs are organised for something a little more interactive. And if you feel like moving around a bit more, you can also go horse riding.

When you're finished all your activities and the only work you did was working on your tan, you can wrap up the night with a traditional braai under the stars to share your scenic moments and stories with other guests. In the morning breakfast will be brought up to your room and transport to the airport will be organised to make sure even when your trip ends it will be hassle free.
