Inside the Kasika Conservancy of the Zambezi Region, directly opposite Botswana’s Sedudu Island, your view - the sight of elephant and buffalo herds grazing on the floodplains. In Namibia this is as close as you can get to being in Chobe itself. Well, you are basically in the Chobe you're just on the Namibian side of the river.
The 16 villas, overlook the river with 180-degree views of the wetlands and bushland beyond. Relax and enjoy the incredible setting from your very own private terrace. That's what sun loungers, complimentary linen bathrobes and slippers are for right? Revel in the peace and quiet.
Each villa, a suite comprising of an open-plan living area with a king-sized bed and an impressive en-suite bathroom. Although in the bush, modern and contemporary, you'll have everything you need including WiFi, a stocked mini-bar fridge and mosquito nets. You will want for nothing and the view definitely won't disappoint either.
All-inclusive, breakfast, lunch, and a 5-course dinner are served in the stylish and contemporary restaurant. At sunset, enjoy the lodge bar with a selection of drinks that will leave no desire undiscovered. Order from the infinty pool. Now that's how you do a sundowner.
To explore the area, you have the option of two (AM and PM) activities included per night booked. Head off on river cruises, birding and wildlife safaris, cultural tours or try your hand at fishing.
Getting there: the lodge can provide return transfers by road (to/ from Kasane Airport and Kasane Immigration Border Post) and even by boat across the Chobe River to/from Kasane Immigration and Kasika Immigration at the Chobe Water Villas itself. The bottom line is you have to go through Botswana to get here.
Put your feet up and request a glass of whatever makes life bliss. Add the incredible view and a herd of elephants meandering by. The makings of a rather fine holiday. Sounds pretty stylish, right?
