Serondela Lodge

Serondela Lodge

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

The logistics are in itself a giveaway of the lodge’s remote location and incredible setting, part of what makes this place so special. Right on the edge of the Chobe River, you’re on the Namibian side and your view is out onto the famous Chobe National Park.

Situated just 17km from Kasane, the Micheletti family are waiting to welcome you at Serondela, no matter how you arrive. However if you plan to drive all the way, it’s best to inform the lodge in advance so they can be on the lookout for you. You’ll be greeted by warm hospitality and a view that speaks volumes. A unique location on a quieter side of the Chobe National Park offering the same great wildlife sightings with far less traffic.

From higher ground, your view from the lodge looks out onto the river and the Serondela area, well-known for its large herds of elephants. Whether lazing about in the main area or from your private deck, the wildlife encounters are spectacular as are the sunrises and sunsets.

In your room, the light interior is refreshing and, beyond the neutral curtains, the African bush comes to life. It’s a comfortable and moderate feel throughout where the focus is on the wildlife and the wilderness. A small and intimate safari lodge, offering an exclusive experience of this secluded area and its abundance of animals.
