The friendly staff at Karoo 1 can book your safari at Aquila Private Game Reserve, just a 15-minute drive away. Once there, you’ll be greeted by majestic horses and meet your guide for a thrilling safari through the 10,000-hectare reserve, where you’ll see the Big 5 in their natural habitat. Spot lions, elephants, and rhinos as you explore in an open-air 4x4, on a quad bike, or even horseback.

Back at AfriCamps, enjoy a traditional South African braai with our Cook-Your-Own braai baskets, filled with fresh ingredients. In the morning, choose from our Cook-Your-Own breakfast basket or enjoy a hearty farm breakfast at the restaurant before heading home.
