We are proud to support TASK, a community-driven initiative dedicated to fighting hunger in Namibia and improving the wellbeing of vulnerable children. With food insecurity affecting many households across the country, TASK plays an essential role in ensuring that children receive the nutritious meals they need to learn, grow and simply enjoy being kids.
Founded on the belief that no child should go to bed hungry, TASK brings together volunteers, community members and partners to create a safe, supportive environment where children can access regular meals and care. Their work extends far beyond feeding alone: by offering stability, encouragement and a sense of belonging, TASK helps children build the confidence and foundation they need for a brighter future.
In 2025, TASK’s impact expanded significantly thanks to the dedication of its team and the growing support behind the project. One of the biggest challenges TASK faces is simply reaching the communities they serve. Transporting staff, volunteers and supplies safely and reliably is essential — as is giving children opportunities to participate in outings and activities that enrich their lives.
To support this, NTS donated a fully serviced Combi to TASK. This vehicle will help their staff and volunteers travel to and from the project with ease, and it will also allow the children to enjoy outings, educational visits and recreational activities that many would otherwise never experience. This contribution supports TASK’s mission of “fighting hunger in Namibia” while helping deepen the sense of connection, mobility and possibility within the community.
TASK’s work is a testament to what can be achieved when individuals and organisations rally together with a shared purpose. Through nourishing meals, supportive relationships and community involvement, TASK is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need it most.
