Best Time to Visit Botswana
Botswana is home to some of Africa's greatest game parks and where there are animals, the best time to travel is in the dry months. For Botswana that means travelling between the end of June and into the beginning of October. There's more though.
Best time to Visit Chobe National Park
The Chobe National Park is a superb safari option for year-round travel, with peak game viewing between May and October. These are the dry months. The Chobe River is a permanent water source. Enough said.
Best Time to Visit the Kalahari and Makgadikgadi Pan
Though you can easily visit all year round, the best time to experience the Kalahari and Makgadikgadi Pans of Botswana is between November and April. It’s green and lush and welcomes the largest African animal migration.
Best time to Visit the Okavango Delta
As a big game wildlife destination, the best time to visit the Okavango Delta, in Botswana, is in the dry winter months from May to October, but there's certainly more to it than that...
Best Time For... Game Viewing
Namibia is a vast, harsh, arid land of coastline, desert and mountains. But, there is life here. Go to Etosha in the summer and you could see an abundance of animals gathering at the waterholes.
