A short drive south of Etosha National Park's Andersson Gate, the lodge is an excellent base for daily guided and self-guided forays into one of Africa's great parks. The 38 en suite bungalows are spacious, clean, comfortable and shaded by mopane and white seringa trees.
A cut above your 'usual' rustic safari lodge, Toshari Lodge offers a modern, yet simple and uncomplicated stay. The reception and main dining area, recently renovated, bring new life and a vibrant but relaxed atmosphere. The grounds are well tended and the central open-air courtyard is the focal point of the swimming pool, bar and restaurant - three ingredients you can really sink your teeth into. Simply laze at the pool, if you're not on safari in Etosha National Park that is.
Game drives on the private nature reserve and into Etosha; excellent birdwatching especially during the summer migrations (on request only).
If you want to walk off breakfast or prepare for dinner, there are a couple of walking trails in an area that is home to many birds including some near endemics.
