Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

A private reserve in the south-west section of the Greater Kruger National Park, close to the Mozambican border, Sabi Sabi is home to 4 distinctive lodges. Earth Lodge is the most forward-thinking among them – a dramatic, open-plan structure inspired by nature that makes the most of the elements and its elevated location near a watering hole, with spectacular views of the surrounding bushveld throughout.

From the main area, a lounge and day bar flow off to the left. The latter features large day beds, as well as chairs and tables slightly submerged in water – a sensory touch that allows guests to cool off over drinks or lunch. On the same side, you’ll also find the Amani Spa, where therapists will soothe tired muscles.

On the other side, a well-equipped gym is ready for those keen to work out, while the boma is a prominent gathering place before dinner.

The 12 spacious, earth-rooted suites fan out on both sides. Each comes with its own private plunge pool, as well as expansive bathrooms with bathtubs and indoor and outdoor showers. Children over the age of 13 are welcome, with the two-bedroom Amber Villa sleeping up to five guests.

Food plays an important part of a stay here – with highlights including sundowners on your afternoon game drive and dinner in a variety of surprise settings.
