As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Set on a palm-fringed island in the Okavango Delta’s Jao Reserve, Kwetsani is an intimate, treehouse-style camp raised among mangosteen and fig, with direct access to the Delta’s waters and open floodplains.

Here, wildlife is thriving, from elephants, hippos and crocodiles to plains game such as zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest – with predators hot on their tails. Exploring the lush surroundings on land and water, you might board a traditional mokoro canoe or boat, or go on a thrilling day trip to Hunda Island, complete with a scenic picnic in the wilderness.

At the lodge, you’ll find 5 romantic tented suites created with canvas, wood, and glass. Allowing for a natural indoor-outdoor flow, each suite comes with a lounge, outdoor shower, and private deck boasting sweeping views. Privacy and seclusion are guaranteed, with elevated boardwalks connecting the suites to an open-sided main area featuring a comfortable lounge and corner bar. A spacious deck presents a brilliant vantage point for wildlife spotting, while the pool offers reprieve from the midday heat.

Wholesome, freshly prepared meals made with locally grown ingredients are enjoyed at the communal dining table overlooking the floodplains. Another walkway leads to the camp’s boma, the perfect gathering point for wildlife tales over drinks, as well as weekly firelit dinners under a sparkling night sky.
