Rather a large guesthouse with 62 rooms in total, split across the street on 2 separate properties right next to one another. Klein Windhoek Guest House, named after the suburb you find it in and not because of its size – the explanation being that “Klein” means small in Afrikaans.
Lacking privacy and a bit of character, it's simple but offers suitable rooms for single business travellers, couples and families including those who may wish to self-cater. We can't pinpoint any serious flaws but nothing to rave about either.
The Riverview Restaurant is a good option if you don't feel like heading into town to dine whilst enjoying the terrace overlooking the Klein Windhoek Riverbed. It's frequented by locals so that either says the food is good or the beer is cold - or both. Either way you won't have to go anywhere if you chose not to and your room is just around the corner.
This guesthouse serves the purpose of being an accommodation, offering all that is needed but not much over and above that. An option for a one night stay perhaps if you looking to keep the costs down and mingle with the locals.
A short drive to the centre of town and well located to a number of restaurants. Visit galleries, museums or even head off on a city tour, township tour or market visit. Do some shopping - there are close by malls or curio shops.

We are a group of four from Romania and spent 3 unforgettable weeks in Namibia. We can't recommend them enough, and for any future travels in Namibia or other parts of Africa, we will definitely use their services again.
