Kingslyn Guest House

Kingslyn Guest House

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Owned by a South African/ British couple it’s a generous mixture of the worlds combined. From the powder blue and white trimmed exterior to the grand arches, chandeliers and embossed ceilings of the interior, this gracious manor house of the 19th century is elegant and grand in gesture.

Ornate gold mirrors, textured wall papers, velvet couches and Victorian black and white tiling all lend to the elegance and charm of days gone by. Coupled with modern hospitality, African flair and new world glamour in the rich colours and dark finishes throughout. It’s rather all resplendent.

You’re well situated to explore the city of Cape Town. You’re close enough to most of the main attractions without having to venture too far. Although venture you must, there’s loads to see and plenty to do. Restaurants abound in and around the area and the friendly staff will gladly make you a reservation and arrange you a taxi there and back.

Pleasantly old fashioned with modern luxuries, Kingslyn Guesthouse is endearing, welcoming and a mighty fine choice of place to stay in Cape Town if you wish to skip on the big corporate hotels and backyard B&B’s.
