Floreal House

Floreal House

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

A half hour walk from the city centre in the quiet Oranjezicht area. If you can't face that (and it is an uphill stroll), just jump in a taxi. Location is key and you're well situated here. You are just below the mighty Table Mountain, one of Cape Town's finest features. You're off to a jolly good start.

Your views are panoramic and that's on top of the beautiful gardens right outside your room. Add the spacious abode you'll call home during your stay and the genuine hospitality and like we said, "you're off to a good start." All that's left is great food and time spent exploring this fine city and you're all set.

Natalie Roodt, the general manager, will have you feeling at home in no time. As if the sweeping views of Table Mountain, the Harbour and Table Bay weren't enough to convince you?

Take your pick of one of the 12 individually styled rooms or opt for the apartment if you're a family. The apartment has a private sitting room and self catering facilities. There’s a double bed sleeper couch which is suitable for young children. All the rooms are grand, but here are some specifics:

Room 1 is upstairs, it’s got a fireplace, shower and a view of Table Mountain.

Room 2 is upstairs with a queen size bed and a bathroom with views of the whole shebang - Table Mountain, Table Bay and the city.

Ditto room 3.

Room 4 is a bit of a honeymoon treat. It’s large, it’s got a bath and shower and you can gaze at Table Mountain and the city whilst contemplating married life. What have you done?

Room 5 is the ‘Africa Room’ with local art. The bathroom has a view over the city and Table Bay.

Room 6 is a small double with a view to the garden. You’ll have a shower and bath.

Room 7 is on the ground floor, it’s got a sitting area and big double doors open onto the pool - make sure you’re dressed when you fling these open...

Room 8 also on the ground floor with garden views and if you look up you can see Table Mountain too.

Room 9 and 10 are large with a garden views and a bath and shower.

We could go on... but you get the just. You'll be happy, no matter the room assigned.
