By day, under the harsh African sun beating down on red earth, it can get hot (really hot) and by night it's open skies and stars a-billion. The southern night sky is an offering like no other. You might not believe it until you've experienced it for yourself. Sit. Unwind. Look up in wonder.
For supplies you can pop in to a shop in Mariental if need be. Buy wood at lodge reception or choose to dine at the lodge restaurant. Whilst out and about keep your eyes peeled as there are often wandering springbok, oryx, zebra and wildebeest nearby. What? Wildlife in the Desert? Don't take our word for it. You'll see.
