Located in the Hardap Region in south-eastern Namibia, Kalahari Anib Camping2Go is made for casual campers – no equipment needed! You’ll be staying in one of eight permanent tents, close to Kalahari Anib Lodge. Comprising four beds each, with an ensuite bathroom with shower, you’ll also find a fully kitted-out kitchen, including a fridge, stove, sink, and cooking utensils, on the outside terrace – which also features a quintessential African braai and a firepit.
Campers can make full use of the facilities at Kalahari Anib Lodge, such as dinner at the restaurant, a dip in one of the two pools, or joining lodge activities – plus, there’s a playground with a jungle gym for little campers.
Exciting morning game drives through the Kalahari Desert will give you an impression of its wide open spaces; or join a sunset drive, for romantic sundowners on a dune while watching the sun sink into the horizon. You can also book a guided dune walk to explore the Kalahari on foot, or a short desert night walk after dinner, in search of nocturnal creatures. The lodge also offers special morning nature drives for families – your guide will immerse you in the surrounding fauna and flora. Prefer to head out on your own? A trail map is available at reception, ready for you to take the initiative and set off on a self-guided hiking expedition.
