Walk along the Jackalberry trees up to the main lodge and your private accommodation. Each tented suite comes with a romantic slipper bath, outdoor shower overlooking the dam, a private veranda and last but not least, it might not be a golden bell, but an intercom system for anything you might need. If you want to relax in your room with some extra treats, spa treatments can be organised to come straight to your door.
Out at the main area, the striking outdoor pool is an invite of its own with loungers overlooking the view. The meals are prepared fresh daily for something custom and new each night. Good food and a good view, what else? In the mornings you can make your way to the patio along the river and have your morning cup of coffee on a Parisian carpet in between all the greenery.
As expected, safari is a must at a “safari” themed camp. On your trip two are included and if that is not enough, you can also request a guided bush walk to do some bird watching and have a dinner out in the open. What a way to enjoy the Kruger.
The camp is warm and loving with all its luxury and it is family friendly, but only to kids older than eight. The kids will also receive accommodation or a room of their own. We also have to add, please be sure to come prepared, while the butlers are on standby to make life easy, this is still a malaria area, so get the shots you need before you decide to lounge by the pool.
The traditional safari is a must at this colonial style camp.
For something slow paced, opt for a bush walk, bird watching or an outdoor dinner.
