Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

Located on a Big Five private concession in the heart of the predator-prowled Kruger National Park, &Beyond’s Ngala shares an unfenced border with the Kruger, and has exclusive traversing rights over 14,700 hectares of game-rich wilderness – resulting in a thrilling African wildlife experience.

Residing underneath a canopy of mopane and tamboti trees, the 20 thatched cottages fan out from the main area. Harking back to the nostalgic days of safari, each cottage skilfully combines classic design elements with contemporary touches. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows make the most of the views, and guests can enjoy a romantic dinner on the private veranda.

The lodge also features 3 Family Cottages with interleading doors, as well as one 3-bedroom Family Villa – the latter comes with its own pool, and the use of a private vehicle. For a special night for couples, book the Ngala Treehouse Experience, which will see you sleep out under the stars on an elevated platform.

The Family Villa, main guest area and rim-flow pool and sundeck all overlook a waterhole from different angles – enhancing your chance of spotting thirsty elephants and other wildlife while taking a dip or relaxing over lunch. You can also take advantage of the well-equipped gym, or spoil yourself with a soothing Healing Earth treatment at the massage sala.

After your evening drive, dinner is set up in the candlelit courtyard, or around the open-air boma.
