Linyanti Ebony Camp

Linyanti Ebony Camp

Please note: Our review of this property has not yet been added. Watch this space. We're working on it.

As a tailor-made tour operator, we often have to get creative when designing your perfect itinerary.

For example, your travel consultant might add this property to your itinerary if:

Location is a significant factor
It offers a unique feature that will enhance your experience
This is a last-minute booking and room availability is limited
Cost is a factor and you'd rather splash out on another part of your trip
This is a newly opened or refurbished property that we have not inspected yet

When designing your custom itinerary we have much to consider not least of which is the value proposition of every product and service included in your quote. In all cases we strive to give you the best experience possible within your budget so please feel free to ask your travel consultant to share their reasons for including this property in your itinerary.

With the Okavango Delta to the west, Namibia's Caprivi region to the north and the vastness of Chobe west and south of you, Linyanti Ebony is about as deep into the pristine wilderness of Botswana as you can get.

A 40-minute flight from Kasane takes you over the plains and marshes of Chobe's unexplored interior before you touch down in what some might call paradise. Transfer by game drive vehicle to your lodge and prepare for royal treatment.

With just four palatial tented suites, the camp is intimate and tranquil. The suites are built on enormous wooden platforms with tented frame overlooking the marshlands of the Linyanti. En suite bathrooms with solar-heated water (plenty of it, we might add) and flushing toilets are all the luxury you need out here in the bush. Sleigh beds the size of ships dominate the floor space with a lounge area to one side and a dressing area to the other and the whole lot opens out onto a wonderful private deck.

The living area is a large tent with a dining area and a lounge and the whole also opens out onto a deck and plunge pool. Dining as an elaborate affair made convivial by conversation with your wonderful hosts and camp guests at single table.

One of the suites is a family room with two additional single beds and a private plunge pool and children of all ages are welcome on safari with the exception of walking safaris. The guides, staff and managers at Linyanti have an excellent reputation for their knowledge and love of the bush so you can relax because you're in the best possible hands in, arguably, the best possible safari destination.
