Highlands House boutique guesthouse is modern, classy and refined. Stately in appearance while at the same time both warm and welcoming. It’s beautiful inside and out, offers impeccable service and a fine choice over the larger hotel offerings in the capital’s centre.

18 uniquely decorated rooms and suites exude design flair without being bumptious. The décor a mix of extravagant wallpapers, geometric patterned rugs and scatter cushions layered on crisp white linens. All en suite with air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilities, WiFi, satellite TV as well as bathrobes and slippers. Settling in here is an easy task.

The gardens outside are stylishly manicured and the multiple living areas are immaculate. It could easily feature in the centrefold of Country Living or House & Garden. While you’re probably only planning to stay here one night, you might just decide to stay longer. Need a reason? What Zimbabwe safari shouldn’t start or end with some relaxation. If you’re flying in or out of Harare, then this is the spot.

The activities on offer will be all those available in and around Harare and the city centre. Whilst Highlands House doesn’t offer any in-house activities, they will happily advise you on what is possible and assist with arrangements as necessary.
