Clean, comfortable, inoffensive. Restaurants, pubs, the sea - every thing’s a 10 minute walk away. Being that central means you are on a main road though so if you’re a light sleeper get your ear plugs out or shut the window.
Good selection of choice here. There are 22 apartments - four of these are studios which are a decent size, there are 10 one bedroom, 6 two bedroom and 3 three bedroom apartments.
It’s got that mezzanine look about it so the bedroom upstairs is open planned.
The apartments give you the chance to spread out after all those hotel rooms / tents. There’s a lounge. A LOUNGE. Happy days. And great if you’ve just got off a long, cramped flight too. Chuck your stuff on the bed then go down and collapse on the sofa.
The second and third bedrooms are downstairs. These aren’t ideal for small children though as the stairs would be too tempting and you’ll be worrying about it. Unless you’ve packed a stair gate.
They’re all set up well for self catering but you can go for a B&B option if you fancy it.
Swakopmund’s a good hybrid option. All those old German buildings will satiate any thirst for culture but if your partner’s bored senseless they can go and throw themselves out of an aeroplane sky diving, sand boarding or quad biking. You could also go on a dolphin cruise (go together on this one?) or take a balloon ride (definitely go together on this one).
