Set on the banks of the Thamalakane River, a 15-minute drive from Maun Airport, Cresta Maun Hotel offers a convenient and comfortable gateway to the Okavango Delta.
Surrounded by lush gardens and riverine vegetation, the hotel is an easygoing stopover for those beginning or ending a Delta journey, or looking to explore the surrounding region at their own pace – with an on-site activity desk assisting with excursions.
The 83 contemporary guest rooms all face the river. Comfortable and functional, they are air-conditioned and designed as a practical base for exploring the Delta, with a range of room categories including suites for added space.
Public spaces comprise a spacious lounge, restaurant and bar, with outdoor terraces that open onto the gardens and river beyond. A swimming pool and shaded seating areas provide a welcome place to unwind, and guests are welcome to work out in the onsite gym.
When water levels permit, guests can set off on river cruises directly from the hotel’s private jetty. Day trips to Moremi, Savuti and Chobe can be arranged, alongside scenic flights and mokoro excursions for a different perspective of the waterways. The hotel’s location also makes it easy to explore Maun’s local attractions and culture at a relaxed pace.
