With only six rooms, including two family units, Charlie’s Guesthouse is an intimate affair. It’s both quiet and private, just off the main road entering into Swakopmund on the B2. It’s well located in a pleasant residential street with easy access into town and all of the main Swakopmund attractions.

Charlie Kooiman, the owner of Charlie’s Guesthouse (hence the name), fell in love with Namibia on her first visit in 2016 and now dream come reality, she can’t wait to host you at Charlie’s Guesthouse which opened its doors in December 2023. A new kid on the block, but trust us when we say, it’s a fine contender for your stay in Swakopmund.

The rooms are elegantly furnished and minimalist in feel, yet all the necessities are covered. Crisp white linens, earthy tones, premium wood and sealed screed finishes round out a modern and sleek aesthetic. All craftsmanship throughout, the work of locals. There’s a story behind each piece and one Charlie would be happy to share with you.

Book it with or without breakfast. If you opt for breakfast, you’re given a voucher to enjoy at Café Anton, Wild Rocket or Bojos Café. A little different from your run-of-the-mill breakfast buffet, but we’re all for it.
