Through its many windows and from the sun-trap decks outside, you can view the calm waters in the heart of Mpumalanga on the famous Panorama Route. It’s hassle free to reach the lodge as it’s situated just off the road that runs between Sabie and Hazyview. Shared facilities include a restaurant built onto the lake, a spa and bar, a garden, and an infinity pool surrounded by decking with loungers.

High quality suites

There are nine suites in total, categorised as luxury and ultra luxury, which should give you an idea of the class and comfort you can expect.

Each of the ensuite rooms has quality wooden furnishings providing the comfort, and large windows providing the spectacular views. You can get even closer to nature via your outside terrace area with seating, a great place to sip a morning coffee or evening sundowner as you relax and unwind. If you’re lucky enough to land a lake room, you can enjoy the water streaming by outside at a level that’s just above the surface – truly mesmerising and totally relaxing.

Your room will have a couch and armchair for sitting, plus a desk and chair for working or sending messages and photos of the views back home to friends and family.

Pick your activities

You’re sure to want to venture into the Kruger National Park to see some wildlife (hopefully all of the Big 5), and it’s easy from here as you’ll be picked up from the lodge and dropped back there in an open-top vehicle that’s purpose built for safaris. Showing you what’s what out in the bush will be an expert field guide.

A hiking trail through the private reserve will keep you on the move, and when you’re ready to venture further afield for your thrills, just ask the lodge team to arrange other activities including cycling, river rafting and abseiling. Fishing is available for those of you seeking a more relaxing pastime.
