Situated in the town of Victoria Falls, the brand-new Waterfalls Lodge by Wild Horizons offers a tranquil escape amid the bustling activity of the region – while being within walking distance of the famous Victoria Falls.
The 60 ensuite guest rooms were created with nature and sustainability in mind – reflected in the waterfall-themed design and garden views – and offer the perfect combination of convenience and adventure. Each room features all modern conveniences, including bathrooms with a shower and double vanity, as well as the option of a luxurious bathtub.
Guests opting for the B&B or half board options can dine out in the comfort of the lodge’s onsite restaurant, or at the renowned Lookout Café, which enjoys a dramatic setting and jaw-dropping views overlooking Batoka Gorge. A pool, verdant gardens, and an elegant spa set the scene for relaxing afternoons in-between exploring the Falls and the surrounding region.
A visit to the famous Victoria Falls is a must, but there are plenty of other activities, too. Go in search of resident wildlife on game drives or walking safaris, embark on a Chobe day trip, enjoy a Zambezi sunset or dinner cruise, or try adrenaline-inducing activities such as white-water rafting, a canopy tour, ziplining, and more. And for a unique bird’s eye view, book a thrilling helicopter flight over the Falls.
Wild Horizons places sustainability at the core of its operations, integrating environmental responsibility with meaningful community initiatives. In April 2025, the company is installing 24 biogas digesters to reduce dependence on traditional fuels and cut carbon emissions, furthering its commitment to renewable energy. Wild Horizons has also been re-awarded Travelife Partner status, recognising its ongoing efforts in energy efficiency, ethical business practices and sustainability training. The company supports long-term community development by funding school fees for 200 children across 15 schools in Victoria Falls. Its Rainforest Raincoat Project continues to empower over 56 local vendors by providing raincoats for hire to visitors at Victoria Falls, generating sustainable income. In Cape Town, Wild Horizons Waterfront Adventures partnered with House of Miracles to host children from disadvantaged backgrounds for a memorable day at sea. Together, these initiatives reflect Wild Horizons' commitment to responsible tourism and positive social impact.
